Happy Halloween!

I promised to post more Halloween decorations so here they are!

My homemade wreath!

I actually mildly electricuted myself on this project - not sure if it was worth the effort!
It's safe now.

I took these old lanterns out of my garage sale bin and decided to paint spider webs on them,
glued on a few spiders, added a mason jar with a candle inside! I like how these turned out. Though they look better in person.

This candle stick was a thrift store find. It was hunter green with old rose dried flowers and moss glued to it - which I removed and spray painted black. Then I bought these old photos at a flea market for .25 cents a piece.
I hope that one day old photos of me don't end up in someone's Halloween display!

More old photos and another spray painted thrift store candelabra.

My daughter wanted to be a Realtor for Halloween(don't ask me why), she collected candy in a brief case! Too funny!
My middle guy is a parrot and the little one is a pirate!

I'm linking up to Donna's Funky Junk Saturday night party!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

  1. LOVE your wreath! And lol about your daughter being a realtor...that is toooo funny! I've been amassing hideous candlesticks at the thrift stores lately too, and spraying them black or oil rubbed bronze or maybe heirloom white. Such a quick, easy, fun project. Digging the lanterns too....

  2. A realtor! I almost just fell out of my chair because I was laughing so hard! That's great, and your decorations look great too!

  3. Heehee! Good one on the realtor! My son dressed up in a red robe, santa hat, and the weirdest makeup ever. Black around the eyes and red around the mouth. Know what he was? A sleep deprived man that ate too many cheezies! Everyone called him Santa so he morphed into that title after about 10 minutes. LOL

Now, I LOVE that garland around your door! That is super gorgeous! Did you make that? I've never seen leaf garland sold before. And those black and white photos with that black candelabra on the black table... looks like a pic from a haunted house! Very cool!

Thanks for linking up to the party!

  4. Hey Donna,
I didn't make the garland - I actually bought it at Michael's a week ago for a whopping $5! Looks pretty good and I'll have it forever.

Where did your son come up with this costume idea! That's hilarious too!
